About Tomodachi Life Patterns Archive

This is an independent fan-made archive for Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream pattern sheets, island build references, Mii designs, clothing patterns, house exteriors, food, treasures, pets, and other player design references.

The goal is simple: help players find clear design references, while keeping source links and creator credit visible whenever possible.

This site is not affiliated with Nintendo, the Tomodachi Life franchise, or any creator whose work is featured in the archive.

Last updated: July 2026. This page is updated when archive policies, sharing rules, or contact options change.

What this archive is

The archive is a discovery and reference index for Tomodachi Life designs shared by players across different communities and languages.

Many useful designs are scattered across social media posts, screenshots, replies, image threads, and community discussions. This site organizes those references with categories, tags, source links, translated notes, and clarity labels so players can find them more easily.

Think of it as a map, not a replacement for the original posts.

What we collect

We mainly collect designs that are useful as references for players, including:

A design does not have to be perfect to be listed. Some entries are complete pattern sheets, while others are inspiration references, partial screenshots, or source posts that may help players recreate a similar idea.

How entries are reviewed

New shared designs and major entry updates are reviewed manually before they appear in the archive. The review usually checks four things:

Source

Is there a public source link, original post, creator page, or community reference?

Credit

Can we identify the creator, poster, or source account? If the creator is unclear, the entry may be marked as unknown instead of guessing.

Reference clarity

Does the post include a full grid, pattern sheet, clear preview, settings, tutorial notes, or enough visual information to serve as a useful reference?

Organization

The entry is tagged by type, language, design use, source status, and reference clarity so players can find it through browsing and search.

What the labels mean

Clear Reference

The entry has enough information to serve as a clear player reference.

Worth a look

The design is useful as inspiration, but it may not include a full grid or complete drawing steps.

Full grid

A clear reference that shows the whole editable pattern, not only the finished 3D object or preview.

Pattern sheet

A flat image, grid, screenshot set, or drawing reference that helps another player recreate the design.

Finished preview

An image of the design as it appears in the game. It is useful for checking the final look, but it may not show the full steps or editable grid.

Source language

The language of the original post or main source. Translated notes may be added for easier browsing.

Image quality

A practical label for whether the reference is clear enough to read. It is not a judgment of the creator’s art.

Unknown

The archive does not have enough reliable information yet. This may apply to creator credit, source language, image quality, or reference clarity.

Not found yet

The archive has not found this specific reference yet, such as a full grid or original source link. The entry may be updated if better information becomes available.

For creators: credit, corrections, and removal

If you made a design listed here, you can ask for the credit, source link, description, or tags to be corrected.

You can also ask for your work to be removed from the archive. Creator wishes come first. The archive is meant to help players discover original creators, not take attention away from them.

Use the Correction / Removal page if:

  • your name or link is wrong
  • the source link points to the wrong place
  • you want your profile, shop, or original post linked
  • you want an entry removed
  • you want images or descriptions changed

For players: how to share or recommend a design

You do not need an account to share a design, recommendation, or recreation note.

Send your own pattern sheet, tutorial, screenshot, island layout, Mii design, or a creator-approved public source link with clear creator/source information. Choose the closest category and add a short note about why the design is useful. New shares are reviewed manually before they appear in the archive.

Please share only:

  • your own work
  • a public post that can be linked back to its source
  • a design you have permission to share or recommend
  • a community reference where the source is clear enough to credit

Please do not share private screenshots, reposted images with no traceable source, or someone else’s work if the creator has asked people not to repost it.

What this archive is not

This is not an official Nintendo website.

This archive is not a marketplace, commission platform, or creator hosting service. It does not require users to create an account, upload a profile, or trust the site with a password.

The archive does not guarantee that every design is complete, official, original, or detailed enough to recreate. Some entries are full pattern sheets; others are partial references, screenshots, tutorials, or inspiration posts.

The archive also does not claim ownership of the designs it indexes. Credit and source links are preserved whenever possible, and creators can request corrections or removal.

Why I made this archive

My name is Xing Wu. I am a Tomodachi Life player who fell into the Palette House / アイテム工房 rabbit hole.

I kept finding great designs that were hard to use because they were buried in old posts, written in another language, cropped awkwardly, or missing context. I started saving and sorting the patterns I wanted to try myself. Over time, that personal collection became this public archive.

The archive is still maintained by hand. I try to make entries easier to browse, easier to credit, and easier to use as references, especially when a design crosses languages or platforms.

FAQ

Is this an official Tomodachi Life site?

No. This is an independent fan-made archive. It is not affiliated with Nintendo, the Tomodachi Life franchise, or any creator whose work is featured in the archive.

Do I need an account to share or recommend a design?

No. You can share your own design, pattern sheet, tutorial, screenshot, recreation notes, or a creator-approved public source link through the Share Designs page. New shared designs are reviewed manually.

Where do the patterns come from?

Entries come from public social media posts, creator pages, community links, manual shares, and designs discovered during archive research.

Do you claim ownership of the designs?

No. The archive indexes and organizes design references. It does not claim ownership of the designs.

What if I made a design listed here?

You can ask for credit to be corrected, a source link to be changed, or the entry to be removed.

Why are some entries missing a full grid?

Some public posts only include a finished preview, partial screenshot, or tutorial note. Those entries may still be useful as inspiration, but they should be labeled clearly.

Why do some descriptions include translated notes?

The archive is multilingual. Translated notes help players browse designs across English, Chinese, Japanese, and French sources.

Can I use these designs in my own game?

Use the source link and creator notes whenever possible. Some designs are shared with drawing references, some are inspiration, and some may have creator-specific limits.
