Published 2026-06-23

Create a custom arrow feather pattern, apply it to a hakama kimono robe with the stamp tool, adjust layering, and add geometric accents for a Taisho-era maid look.

Original Post Text

1. First, open the Workshop, create a new blank square pattern canvas, and enter the pattern editor. From the toolbar, find the stamp tool, choose the arrow feather stamp, apply it evenly across the entire canvas, then use the paint bucket to adjust the color scheme. Once you're satisfied, save this custom pattern. 2. Under the clothing category, select the hakama-style kimono robe as your base. Use the transparent fill option to clear the original base color, leaving only the clothing's outline lines. 3. Switch to the stamp options and bring up the arrow feather pattern you saved earlier. Place the pattern over the areas of the clothing you want to decorate. Adjust the layer order so the pattern sits below the outline lines to prevent it from covering them. Fine-tune the size and placement of the pattern for a balanced overall layout. 4. For the remaining sections, refer to the original clothing design. Use the rectangle tool in the edit bar to draw geometric shapes—such as squares and triangles—one by one as accent decorations. Simply follow the original design while drawing.
