For the first top on pages 1-4, draw the diamond grid with the straight-line tool, then copy-paste one finished row. The pearls and buttons can also be copied and pasted. For the second top on pages 5-7, make the tweed base by drawing a grid with two colors, then use the base color randomly to break up the lines.

p1–p4 First piece — diamond pattern, drawn using the line tool. Once you finish one row, just copy and paste it. The pearls and buttons can also be done with copy and paste. p5–p7 Second piece — tweed base. First pull out a grid using two colors, then use the base color to randomly break up the lines.
