Original Post Text

Made a new kimono set~ Still basically no drawing skills needed, the pattern theme is nandina leaves. All you need to know: line tool, eraser, rendering pen, zoom in/out --- From OP in the comments: Sorry for the wait, the pattern sheet is here~~~~~ The patterns used are: the green leaf to the left of the maple leaf in image 2, and the candy on the little finger in image 3. Material prep: Change both the candy and the leaf to the same color (I used a darkened purple), then erase the candy into the shape shown in the top-left of image 4 to imitate nandina berries; for the leaf, keep only the center vein and fill in everything else solid, to get the effect shown in the bottom-right of image 4; duplicate the leaf, erase the excess, and compress it narrower to get the top-right effect in image 4 (this step is optional — you can just use the bottom-right leaf for everything). Then you can start making the outfit. The base color of the outfit is white; all other colors come from the leaf color. Once you've arranged the leaves into position, draw in the branches, then use the white and yellow rendering pens to render at the corresponding spots~~~~~~ Overall order: prepare materials → apply base color to outfit → arrange material positions → render Referenced this image — the source is from the same blogger as my previous morning glory set~

About This Design

A new kimono set with a nandina leaf motif, requiring almost no freehand drawing. Only basic tools needed: line tool, eraser, shading pen, and zoom.

How to Use This Design

The pattern sheet is here! The motifs used are: the green leaf to the left of the maple leaf in image 2, and the candy from the small finger stamp in image 3. Preparation: change both the candy and the leaf to the same color (dark purple was used here), then erase the candy into the shape shown in the top-left of image 4 to mimic nandina berries. For the leaf, keep only the center vein and fill in the rest to get the bottom-right effect in image 4. Optionally, copy the leaf, erase the excess, and narrow it to get the top-right effect in image 4 (this step is optional; you can use the bottom-right leaf throughout). To make the garment: set the base color to white, use the leaf color for all other elements, arrange the leaves, draw the branches, then apply white and yellow shading pen highlights in the appropriate areas. Overall order: prepare motifs → apply base color → arrange motifs → apply shading.
