Original Post Text

Made from the corners of two cubes. Using this idea you can make slot-together trees and similar things — it does take up more grid space, but the range of outline shapes improves a lot, and many things won't just end up looking like a flat jpg.

About This Design

A 3D Christmas tree made using two cube corners — the cross-insert technique adds shape variety and brings objects to life beyond flat designs.

How to Use This Design

Design two patterns as cube-corner shapes, then cross-insert them together to form a 3D tree. This method takes up more grid space but gives richer silhouettes — great for making other cross-insert 3D objects too.
