Making Steps

Editorial notes based on creator, source, or submitter information.

Start by drawing one reusable building skin that contains as many motifs as possible. Scale and freely combine copies of that skin to make 3D objects in different sizes and forms. Prepare the individual objects first, then arrange them together like building blocks to assemble a large structure. An exact copy is unnecessary: adjust the motifs and colors to your taste, using the creator's version as a reference for traditional Persian architectural patterns and colors. Separate sheets for other components are planned.

Recreation Notes ?
This kind of maximalist traditional-style island design can take a lot of time. To streamline the process, I recommend first drawing a base building skin pattern that includes as many motifs as possible. Then, scale and freely combine the skin patterns to create three-dimensional objects. The sizes and types of these objects will vary quite a bit. After preparing the objects, arrange them uniformly, like building with blocks to construct large structures. You don't need to replicate it one-to-one; you can adjust the patterns and colors to your liking to some extent. What I'm showing here uses relatively traditional Persian architectural patterns and colors. Later, I'll post pattern sheets for the different components in separate notes.
