Making Steps
Editorial notes based on creator, source, or submitter information.
For the lace kimono, use tools aggressively: the butterfly and lace bow are treasure drawings prepared ahead of time, then recolored as stamps on pages 7-8. The obi lace is recolored stamp lace on page 4. The hem lace is hand-drawn on page 5. The sleeve-cuff lace uses a stamp on page 6.

Recreation Notes ?
Saw the new Shugo Chara! collab — a really beautiful Reim-style kimono, so I drew it right away. Using the tools smartly actually makes it pretty simple. The butterfly and lace bow were drawn in advance as treasures, both recolored using the stamp tool (see p7, p8). The lace on the obi is a recolored lace from the stamp tool, p4. The lace on the skirt hem is hand-drawn, p5. The lace on the cuffs is from the stamp tool, p6. Hope everyone likes it 💕
