Making Steps

Editorial notes based on creator, source, or submitter information.

Make this castle as an item, not a house exterior. Fill the base color in one step, then use stamps for the windows, doors, flowers above the windows, and roof tiles; recolor them directly or adjust the hue sliders. Build roof bricks with stickers and recolor them the same way. Several castle pieces are duplicated and then resized taller, shorter, wider, or thinner; use the creator's captured building parameters. This is a rough close-up design meant for an easier no-drawing castle.

Recreation Notes ?
Because I've been drawing house exteriors these past couple of days — drew a bunch of ice cream trucks, small villas, and stuff — I really don't feel like grinding out a castle. Highlight: This is NOT a house exterior! It's an item! The castle only needs one-click fill for the base color, and then the windows, doors, flowers on the windows, and roof tiles can all be found as stamps in the stamp tool — just place the stamps and recolor them, or drag the hue slider in the tint settings for one-click recoloring! See the last few images for details. For the bricks, use stickers to piece together a roof and then adjust the hue to recolor it directly. For other things like windows, just place them and recolor. You can also see that several parts of the castle are made by duplicating pieces and adjusting the height and width of the structures — I've already screenshotted the building parameters. Edit 2: Since this castle mostly uses stamps and recoloring rather than drawing, it may look a bit rough up close. Choose carefully before following this tutorial — it's only suitable for players who aren't great at drawing and don't want to put in the effort for a more detailed version.
