French Vintage Lace Cat Rug Pattern Sheet for Tomodachi Life

Was about to sleep but suddenly wanted to draw a carpet with a little cat on it. The cat is super tiny, but it's still really cute! It might look complicated, but including the planning, drawing, and edits it only took me an hour! It looks detailed but you can draw a small section and then copy-paste it! Highlight: this is a tiled pattern sheet for an item!! Not a floor tile!! There are 3️⃣ parts to make: 1️⃣ the lace border of the carpet 2️⃣ the carpet corner 3️⃣ the main center section of the carpet 1. Start with the carpet lace border — see p2, 3, 4 for details First draw the main shape of the lace in an empty area (p2), then use the eraser on a white background to create the lace pattern. Select that section and copy-paste it eight times, leaving space at the bottom. Then add a dark gray strip along the bottom edge, light gray for the middle section, and use white to draw two very thin lines over the dark gray border. For the light gray area, use the second largest brush with white and just dot dot dot to make polka dots. 2. Carpet corner — see p5, 6, 7, 8, 9 for details Reuse the finished lace border, select all and copy it twice, then drag the copies to the corners to form the carpet corners. This step is just copy-paste. Then draw a little cat (p7), select it with the tool, and paste it onto the tip of the corner. 3. Finally, the easiest part — the main center section of the carpet, see p10, 11, 12 for details Start with a light gray base, then draw the pattern in white (you only need to draw one — after that just keep copy-pasting!)
