First, a highlight: items cannot be placed on object tile panels, but they can be placed on ground tiles. So the fringe sections are drawn as tiled panels, while the middle of the picnic blanket is made as ground — this way you can place items on the picnic blanket! See pages 13, 14, 15. Grid flooring can actually be split apart and used as regular flooring. See pages 3 and 4. There are two parts to make: 1. the grid flooring for the middle of the picnic blanket, and 2. the fringe sections. 1️⃣ Start with the easiest part — the grid section in the middle of the picnic blanket. See pages 5 and 9. Just lay down a light base color, then use a little of the leftover color to draw the grid lines and you're done! (For the brush, see page 12 — use the second brush, which makes the grid look less rigid.) 2️⃣ Draw the fringe sections. See detail pages 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. First, draw the edge using a dark shade of the picnic blanket's overall color, then draw a snowflake shape, then use a few white and khaki strokes to loosely draw some lines for the fringe. It looks rough up close, but since it's so small it won't look strange at all. Just draw one fringe piece — then copy and paste to finish the rest!
