Accurate Kyudo Archery Outfit Pattern

Pattern sheets are on p4 and p5 (but these are screenshots from the original version — I'll export high-resolution images on my computer later and update them!) p2 and p3 are plain top images! The models are Bozhu herself and her juniors. p6–p9 are real-life kyudo uniform reference photos and educational notes (featuring Bozhu herself and her teacher). Oh my goodness, I racked my brain for three hours drawing this and I'm exhausted... by the time I finished I had absolutely nothing left. Since I study kyudo myself, I referenced around eight hundred photos of my own and my fellow students' practice sessions while drawing — I was determined to create a pattern sheet that replicates a real kyudo uniform almost one-to-one. 🥹 The top needs to be tucked into the bottom skirt by equipping them as a set and pressing the L stick to get the full effect. I revised the side opening so the top and bottom would align perfectly — I redid it eight or nine times, aaaahhhh. Feel free to use this for Tsurune fan content or any other kyudo-related characters! A little educational note about kyudo uniforms: The bottom garment worn by women in kyudo — the hakama — is actually not a skirt. It is an extremely wide-leg trouser with two separate legs. The front has 5 pleats and the back has 3 (men's hakama are different, with only 1 pleat in the back). The side openings exist because the hakama is made of a front panel and a back panel that wrap around the waist and are tied with a belt, which is why you see the overlapping belt pattern at the front. The strip of fabric visible in the middle is the kakuobi (the band tied at the waist to hold everything in place) — this is the light blue section in my pattern sheet. Feel free to recolor it to any color or pattern you like! I specifically drew each junior and fellow student's own kakuobi color for them. ៷>ᴗ<៷ Also, men's kyudo hakama have a koshiita (back board), which women's do not. This is similar in structure to kendo hakama — however, in kendo, both men and women wear the koshiita style with only one back pleat.
