Making Steps

Editorial notes based on creator, source, or submitter information.

For a lively but private community, keep the island layout concentrated without making it dense. Give Miis short routes so they go outside and socialize without walking too far. Add small parks in different styles, such as a flowerbed rest area, a lakeside couple park, and a heart-mole lake, and keep park routes simple. Ring-island parks, a cherry-blossom park, a coronation spot, and a campfire island can add variety.

Recreation Notes ?
I play Tomodachi Life purely to watch the interactions 🙋🏻‍♀️ and to let my OCs go make friends with every islander (love yourself So I chose to make my island design as compact as possible without being cramped — the Miis have motivation to go out more while not having to walk far just to socialize. I designed several small parks in different styles (a flower bed rest area, a lakeside couple's park, a heart-shaped mole lake) and kept the paths inside the parks as straightforward as possible so the Miis will visit often~ I also built a few roundabout-style parks, a cherry blossom park, an islander coronation spot, a bonfire island, and more... I really love watching the Miis moving around in groups of three or five, or walking together in pairs, chatting and laughing every day in this big community life — it's so utopian Please update already... the content right now is genuinely just not! enough to play with!
